b.a.d.

You are young and perhaps have not had the life experiences that he has been through. Pain can be a disguise for anger so please be gentle.

yochanan,

If indeed you are taking a pop shot at b.a.d.'s country, this is not so Kosher, and is not such a Jewish thing to do.

Being kind and respectful towards one another sets a better example!

I used to like canada but every time i went up there since sept 11 I got my fill of anti-americanism. Each time it keep getting worse on the last trip every day some idiot would have to tell me his/her opinion about America. Canukistan is lucky it can live off the American defence system knowing full well we would not let someone attack them. But they sure feel it is ok to crap on america. Now if they had to pay what national defence costs they might have a different opinion., So if the hipocrits can't take it don't dish it out.

I have been in every provance of canada except for the 3 northern terr. My fav being Alberta and Newfoundland might be because the people there were the niceest and I did not see any anti-americanism or anti-semitism. When you are walking down the street and somebody has to tell you there opinion of your country right out of the blue it tends to leave a bad taste in your mouth. And on my last trip of three weeks it happen everyday. Some of the times I don't even know how they knew I was an american because the only thing american I had on was a old style Blackhawks jersy (which i bought in canada) When I was in my leather jacket you could tell I was an American because of a small American flag patch. Now if you walked down the main street of Chicago with a canadian flag patch on your jacket no one would say anything to you besides hello.

I went to a Blackhawks / Canuks game and a number of people boo'd and made unsportsman like comments during the national anthem. Remember the whole idea of anglo canadian nationalism is WE ARE NOT AMRICANS.
